This site reflects the results of the genealogical
research of the families
of my four grandparents-4 Dutch Jewish families from the regions of
Salland,
Twente and the Achterhoek (in the provinces of Gelderland and
Overijssel
in the Netherlands)and related Jewish families of this region and their
history. All families have their roots in Germany and immigrated to the
eastern Netherlands in the 18th century. Research-all amateur work by
me
and many others, too many to mention by name-is continuing all the
time,and
this site will be currently revised to show new developments. This is
the
place to thank all my co-researchers for their help, information and
advice.
